About Julie Collet

I am a French photographer, painter, Soul healer, weaver and Priestess of the Breton Goddess Dahud.

My roots are in Brittany, France, and it is this ancient Celtic landscape that inspires most of my work.

I was raised near Paris and I have then lived in Brighton (UK), Cuzco (Peru) and in the Amazon forest near Cochabamba (Bolivia) - while travelling a lot in between places.

Besides art (from the sensual paintings of Klimt to the soothing beauty of Chopin's music!) one of my passions is long distance walking.

Nothing makes me happier than walking a hundred or a thousand miles, all alone, my life all packed on my back, up mountains and along oceans, in the rain or under the sun! I am an eternal Pilgrim :)

At Samhain 2015 - the beginning of the Celtic year - I moved to Glastonbury to start training as a Priestess, and my artistic and creative career started unfolding...

As a growing up child, teenager and young adult, I have always been passionate about poetry, photography, and about conveying a feeling of sensuality through art.

Through my work I wish to express my belief that we should fully embrace ourselves as whole; Our individual talents, strength, sensuality, but also our tears, our anger, our hopelessness, all of our dark times.
